My interest in depicting Americana Art has been a life long journey. With this series of paintings, the task was to create several pieces that held very bright and bold colors and that the setting of the paintings depict the vast array of colors enjoyed on the northern plains and western mountains which the seasonal changes bring to the people who lived there and their lives through out the year. Hand painting on silk allows the colors to pop, a depth in the silk and transparency can be achieved that is most satisfying to me as an artist.

Anderson R. Moore a western artist. Work in many mediums; metal smith engraver, silk artist, painting in many other mediums. Whats new, over the last five years she has been learning the new skills of hand engraving, horse hair hitching. More to come! Anderson R. Moore has been creating her western art for over thirty years. She is well known for her western art including, her Teepees, fly fishing and scratch board art and now engraving and hitching horse hair. She has shown her art in Seattle, Idaho and most recently in Colorado. Ms Moore is a member of Cowgirl Artists of America.
