I appreciate all the collectors and wonderful comments and discussions on all of my art. My interest in depicting truly American Art has been a life long journey. With varied series of paintings, the task remains to create pieces that hold very bright and bold colors and that the setting of the paintings depict the vast array of colors enjoyed on the northern plains and western mountains which the seasonal changes bring to the wildlife, and people who lived there and effects on their lives through out the year. Painting in any medium with very bold colors that pop, give a depth that is most satisfying to me as an artist.

Little Bear is painted with acrylic paint on sandstone, thus the texture I was looking for. The stone creates a new depth and adds many dimensions by the use of the stones natural textures and flaws.
